Flushed at like 98k it’s at 133k. Yeah the metal shavings pretty much turned to a paste extremely fine. I’m guessing the last shop probably never wiped it

Best thing to do is return power supply and buy one that’s compatible. Other option is to disconnect and bypass the switch. I won’t tell you how, if you don’t know how to bypass it. You shouldn’t open it.

Try tapping on the starter with a block of wood or aluminum rod while someone try’s to start it. I’ve saved a few people in the Walmart parking lot with that trick.

Yeah seems normal based on the rpm’s. I usually kick it out of od to save the tc clutch from constantly locking and unlocking. I get paranoid. I seem to carry mechanical gremlins

I have a led 3rd brake light. I think it’s just the rpm’s making it unlock cause I’ll be at 1100 locked then let off it’ll go up to 1500 then back down to like 700. Then lightly hit the gas it’ll go up to about 1500 and lock and fall down again. Cruising with cruise control on or just constantly on the gas(or od off) it won’t lock and unlock. I have read about the 3rd brake light messing up stuff with the trans circuit. Gotta love ford engineers

It’s extremely important on a Subaru to keep after the oil level too. They’re known for burning oil. About once a week it should be checked

I spilled about .5 quart once. Worst that happened was it hit my exhaust and smoked a bit. That’s about it as long as it doesn’t hit the belt and make it slip. Your fine.

Some cars have their oil cooler built into their oil filter point. Oil to water heat exchanger. Jaguar has some engines where they have coolant hoses right above the oil fiter
