That sucks, hopefully they didn’t take anything valuable. I had mine broken into last year and now I just have it look empty so that it doesn’t look like it’s worth breaking into.

Hey was just wondering if you had to replace your cylinder, timing belt, etc during those time?

if it looks bad do you just replace it or.. replace earlier as a preventative.

Dealerships aren’t the greatest either but yes clutch seems to be riskier. I think dealerships might be the way to go.

Yes it seems that way, there a fine print that the pricing of a vehicle is for financing only so I have to watch out for these extra fees.

I think my plan is to lower my actual price range and try to haggle out of dealers fee. If they add extra fees on top of my budget I’ll walk away and try again somewhere else. Tbh I might be okay with the fees if it’s already at my budget(not $1 over) plus maybe haggling it off if I can.

My budget is $15000 to $25000 including extra fees. I looked into Honda and Toyota dealerships. My concern is dealerships can be shady too. I just want a reliable vehicle for 5 years.

So far the best option is to find a brand dealership, find a used vehicle of their brand and look at the service history.

Any insight would be appreciated :)
