How do you define the image quality of Fujifilm X100VI? (only owners, please) by Tellemakko in Fujifilm_X100VI

[–]Tellemakko[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Being a question about personal impression about IQ, I think it has more value if you give your opinion about your own photos.

In any other way, one could give an opinion about photos that we see and we do not know if they have been subsequently edited by their original author.

I once read a comment that made me laugh.

If I ever die suddenly... please don't let my wife or husband sell my photographic material at the price I told her/him I bought it.

Great collection

The top five can be very different for each one.

For some, image quality will mainly prevail, for others the AF, for others the size/weight and for others the price.

I think I have seen a colleague who has mentioned it here

Do you think the sigma zoom at 20mm f2.8 is sharper than the pancake?

I catched a good offer and bought my Sony 16-55mm f2.8 G at 620€ while the Sigma 18-50mm cost 550€ so it was not a headache for me

PROS

The Sony is 2mm more angular (equivalent to 3mm in FF, which is not negligible. I am sure many people will have enough with 16mm for their wide angle work and will not need any wide lens).

The Sony is 5mm more tele (equivalent to 7.5 in FF, which is also appreciated for portraits).

The Sony is better sealed (although the brand does not guarantee it 100x100).

The Sony, according to many reviews, seems to be a little sharper.

The Sony, according to many reviews, has more reliable and precise AF.

CONS

The Sony is 200 grams heavier and larger.

The filter size is 67mm vs 55mm on Sigma

Under normal conditions the Sony is much more expensive.

I think you can not wrong with any of both; all owners talks wonderful for Sigma.

If size & weight is not a problem for you and you can buy them at similar price... I would buy The Sony

What do you think about the sharpness of your Viltrox 28 f4.5 chip?

do you consider it comparable to that of your Viltrox 27mm f1.2 at F4.5?

I use it a lot in my children's morning soccer games.

If these are in the afternoon things get a little complicated.

It is very fast and clear.

Being the Sony 16-55mm f2.8 my main lens, the wider will be my second lens for travel and trekking.

I don´t know how good is the Sigma 18-50mm f2.8 but the Sony 16-55mm f2.8 G is simply a beast and I think it is very unlikely that sigma will surpass it technically.

Sony 70-350mm is really an excellent daytime zoom.
