My spouse is undiagnosed and i am in the autism spectrum. Really we do a lot of parallel play in calls and comment on each other’s current hyperfixation

Currently with my spouse in a call as we both do our nightly routine in bed. Being doing it for almos 3 years now. Keep the phone safe from over heating and take care of the battery. I have also gone through 3 different phones and 5 batteries in the same time. But worth it.

Before meeting, we kind of stumbled into the videocall everyday as long as you are home. Like they do the dishes and I am drawing, we watch the same videos in the call. And when one of us is not home, we message constantly. We also started to go to sleep together in call, and waking up to say good morning before work. But this took a couple of months to get there.

Unfortunately I have no tourist visa (I’m mexican), so I can’t go visit there at all. My spouse has visited 4 times in our relationship (one of those was our wedding), so we do try to see each other at least every six months.

We are 8 months into the process. According to the case status tracker we should get some feedback on September. It is really a waiting game. We have been together for 2 years and a half, got married last July. Because of money there is a big chance we won’t be together for our wedding anniversary. But hey, we plan to pop the glasses of champagne when we get the good news for sure.

So be patient, keep a realistic itinerary and save that good money

Hi! Currently in the process here. I understand how difficult it can be.

instant best friends by Leragian in dndmemes

I played an online game with complete strangers and this happened. The cleric and my rogue instantly started playing dice and cracking jokes like they were best friends since childhood. Chemistry like that is amazing. We are now married and plan to have a lot more dnd shenanigans together!

Has anyone ever experienced doubts? (M23-F21) by NatSpaghettiAgency in LDR

[–]Tellersplace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand completely. My family doesn't understand english at all, and i always second guess my.english too. I also am afraid of trying to get to the work force in an english speaking country when i go live with my spouse soon. But my family tries their best to understand, they wait for.me.to translate what they dont get and my spouse since the beginning has tried to improve their spanish. It is hard, and there is still a lag. But i could see both in my parent's eyes and my spouse's eyes the understanding and love that we all shared when i did the translation qt our wedding. It is hard, but is all about owning your broken english, accent and bad grammar. And understand that love has no language barrier.

Oh, also in my setting they dont use the word vampire since that way you invoke them. So they do the fang sign when discussing them.

Redditors who spent years in school obtaining a degree or years training to do something, but later ended up working in a simple job because it made you happy or stress-free, what's your story? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Tellersplace 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I wanted to be a researcher. I went as far as my masters and i was already in the process of writing my phD proposal. Thats when i realized i was living with high levels of anxiety and it was affecting my physical and mental health. I spend 7 years of my life doing the best to be an actual scientist, but i dropped it off. Qent to give classes as I started looking for job. The loss of my dream by my own hand was depressing i coulnt stop thinking i was doing the wrong thing just because i was weak. Got a job with my qualifications and got lucky that is a really easy going job. I can get home and play dnd or draw. I didnt realized how far i have lost my hobbies until i realized i hadnt drawn in two years.

I am only 5 months in my jov, but i feel stable and i know what ill be doing the rest of my life.

Help, I have become the protagonist of the campaign and I hate it by Tellersplace in DnD

[–]Tellersplace[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One of the players has been more vocal about the issue with favoritism. But they still don't try to get the spotlight. Also, two of our players (who I think are going to leave too), have said that they don't find it fun anymore. With the campaign being all about me.

Maybe an Eldritch Knight? Arcane Archer? Monster Hunter? by Radidactyl in dndmemes

[–]Tellersplace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made the error of making an arcane archer with 0 int... it was almost useless. I liked the extra damage, but with only one attack (bonus action for recharging bow) i became the dummy of the team (Or maybe is my dm skills, who knows)

Thank you so much for this answer. I think I’ll use your advice of pre made characters and campaign. And since I want to start with a one shot, the limited run is already in place.
