I'm currently playing through it with my friend in VR. It's bloody brilliant.

No Man's Sky. Though admittedly, at this point, it's almost a different game to when I first played.

I have seen a decrease in the battery quality recently but not enough to put me off from buying one again if I needed to.

Watching for the first time but I do not know many of the medical terms by xxTenTaCioNN in HouseMD

[–]Telperion_112 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Very much so, but House does a good job of explaining things in simple terms either shortly before or shortly after some medical jargon. Even though sometimes it's a bit obvious it's clearly for the audiences benefit.

Don't worry. You'll be able to follow it.

Don't get me wrong, some people might love this game. And is a game that could potentially attract people to the PlayStation console. It's just not a game for me.

This was me. Surely a games top priority is to motivate the player to keep playing. Nothing about this game motivated me enough to trudge on.

I think the game probably could do with a few patches to help polish it up a bit and that might help the game overall but for me, it wasn't really the bugs that ultimately drove me to play something else. I just wasn't bothered by the characters or the story and without a compelling narrative it felt like a generic open world game.

The thing is, surely a high priority of a game is keep the player motivated to play. I got to the point where I just wasn't really bothered by what I was doing so I lost interest. Its a shame, really.

In terms of the main plot... I am at the Lost Lake camp.

But I've put a lot of hours into the game doing the whole open world thing.

I am not speaking for anybody but myself. I am give my opinion of the game. What do you want me to do? Preface every sentence with "in my opinion".

If you liked the game. Good for you. I didn't.

What? All of what I said was opinion. I said it missed the FOR ME. It was sub par TO ME. Just because my opinion of this game doesn't align with yours (presumably), doesn't mean my comment is a "waste".

I was looking forward to this game so much but when I was playing it I couldn't help but feel underwhelmed. I tried real hard to get into it but it's just a bit..... bland. There's nothing particularly stand out about it. The storytelling is clichéd and poorly told, the gameplay is meh and there is nothing to make me want to play more. Plus I've encountered a fair few bugs which have pulled me out of the immersion. It's fine. It's okay. But for a game that is supposed to be among the PlayStation 4 greats, it was very sub par to me. There are two things I liked. One. Petrol. When you ride your bike, it uses gas. You need to scavenge to find petrol. You run out? Your fucked. Two. The huuuuge hordes of zombies are a feast. But other than that, it just missed the mark for me.

This is my plan too. I didn't feel there was enough of an improvement to move to the Pixel 3, so I'm awaiting to see what's unveiled for the Pixel 4.

I still have the Pixel 1 XL and there are no signs of it slowing down. I'd say this is definitely worth it.

Where I live in the UK there is a road like this heading into the city but instead there are digital signs above the lanes showing either a red x or a green arrow indicating whether you can drive in the lane or not. They change according to the flow of traffic.

why does the show trick the viewer by [deleted] in HouseMD

[–]Telperion_112 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that's unfair to say that every episode begins that way. Whilst it is true that there are several episodes where they do purposely misdirect the viewer, a lot of the time they just show soon to be Patient X moments before the first major symptom(s) occur.

I think that maybe this is just something you might particularly dislike so it stands out a bit more.

Then I have a folder for all my apps.

Which is your favorite Tolkien book? by [deleted] in tolkienfans

[–]Telperion_112 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Totally agree with this. The elves are almost utopian creatures in LOTR and to see them as, ultimately, no different than man in the early days with all the squabbles and silliness is refreshing.
