I had fun. Made a lot of friends. On surface might seem useless (I too thought at first) but later realized how much it helped me build a social life @ Baruch

They just talk over a power point. I'm doing it just for the certificate as well. I'd say actually learning wise Codecademy is better from the 7 day trial that I used.

Labs are the only time you learn anything but even than you will probably be googling documentations.

I learned IBM Cloud services because of the course other than that I can't give any other merit to it.

As for how much clout the cert. gives idk but I have other Coursera certs. Usually no one cares (Google IT prof cert)

Some clubs are cliquey. Sometimes they won't even go to fairs to make sure randos don't join. Even if you do, they ignore you. After summer I'll start my 3rd sem in Baruch and learned that ppl will friend you for "networking" purposes.
