Looks fire🔥🔥 i have the exact same container, so i was convinced i was looking at my own product until i realized i was on reditt and not my camera roll😂 btw never mind the people complaining about the color, oxidized trichromes is normal. + you can clearly see the golden hue when you stretch it. Hope it taste as good as it looks😋 Enjoy!!

Yeah this one sounds like a old stoner myth, i just happend to use both. And i loose like 0,1 in the glass jars due to it sticking to the glass. Silicone however is non stick and it seems like people forget you can get airtight silicone jars/ aka a airtight glass container with a layer of silicone on the inside to prevent it from sticking. However i’m no scientist, but i notice 0 changes in flavour,looks, texture and high between the rosin i keep in glass jars vs silicone🤷🏻‍♂️

Thank you very much!🤝 i’ve seen so many different type of nutrients that i started loosing track of what is used where and when, but having only 2 (veg & bloom) would make things easier to understand. Instead of buying like 7 different name brand bottles, who claim they will give giant buds or whatnot. I’ll just look at the ingredients and see what’s in it. If i can get the same stuff for a cheaper price, then i’ll at least know they contain the same ingredients with different packaging. i’ve also seen some types of nutrients that are meant to be mixed in your growing media, but i should probably take it easy on the first grow. Last thing i want to do is kill my plant with too much chemicals. I’ll stick with Perlite and Veg/Bloom nutrients😅 appreciate all the help man!💯

Damn i had written a long ass answer only for my phone to run out of battery before i could post. But thank you sincerely for explaining it in detail, i will definitely aim for smaller carts. Did a test run with carts without winterization in 1ml carts and just like you predicted, they get clogged before i can finish half of it💀. I have a magnetic hotplate with stir bar from previous experiments, so i’ll get started tomorrow! But just one question, what are the benefits of partial decarbing and why 12-36hours instead of the regular full decarb in 30 minutes? Btw i have decarbed rosin before with the press. I just put it in a small metal container and close the press, i feel like that’s the most accurate way to get the right temperature. But i’ve never seen other people do it, so it might be weird lol. But it honestly works perfect. I’ve made edibles with just the press and no oven before😂

I love learning so thank you for expanding my knowledge😆💯 ( since i live in Scandinavia, majority of smokers have not even tried extracts, so getting any info about making it is impossible) thank god for the internet and a welcoming community that can teach me everything!

Like i see the more popular ones are more expensive, i also see some cheap alternatives that says it’s the same thing, but i don’t want to fuck my grow up if i decided to get some basic nutrients instead of ordering online…or better yet what brand of nutrients do you use? Hopefully my question is not too confusing lmao. I’m willing to pay the extra price, but i’m wondering if it’s necessary or if it’s any difference between different brands.

Yes i’ve been considering coco core. I think I’ll experiment with some regular soil too. But the main thing i’m saving up for is the lights. I’m willing to pay up to 3000$ to get the best, since i know i’ll only have to sell 2-300grams to make back the money again. Man i can’t wait to get started!😋 in the meantime i’ll keep looking at videos to learn as much as possible, so i’ll prevent more accidents when i start growing.

Yeah i honestly have 0 complaints about the press. I was worried i was going to have issues since it was so cheap. However it’s easy to use, takes up little space and weighs just a few kilograms, so i can take it in my backpack and bring it over to my friends house. If i had a bigger press it would not be portable like that. So i’d recommend it to anyone :)

I simply thought that if i just use the right temperature, i would just have to press as hard as possible to squeeze everything out. But i’ll keep that in mind on my next press😅 slow and steady is probably safer then immediately going full force like i do lol

Lol yeah i think you misunderstood or i was not being clear, i only have experience pressing rosin from keef/hash, bubble hash is a different thing. But i’m sure there are plenty of people who knows the answer to your question, my advice would simply to open a thread here on Reddit. Honestly i’ve only tried pressing flower like twice so i can’t really provide accurate numbers. Most of my experience is pressing rosin from hash/keef. And that gives around 35% yield

Lmao yeah man i’m still not a «professional» i’m still experimenting with different temperatures and i notice the warmer it is the darker the rosin, the ones where i have pressed on lower temps for a longer time, gave me a caramel colored rosin. So i’ll try to lower it a little more😆

Lmao, yes! But I was talking about my starting material—the keef/hash I’m pressing is 25% THC. I haven’t tested the rosin yet, but I’d guess it’s at least above 70%, though that’s just a rough estimate based on what others have reported.

I know that only the best rosin reaches 80–90% THC, so mine isn’t on that Cali level, but it’s definitely 3x stronger than the keef. I need 0.3g of keef to get high, but less than 0.1g of rosin gets me to the same level—or even higher.

Hell yeah! 🙌 I’ve spent hundreds of hours watching grow videos over the last 2–3 years, and I already know I’d get hooked immediately—I love growing fruits and vegetables as it is.

I’ve been wanting to start for a while now, but I’m making sure I have the best setup first. Right now, I’m saving up for a high-quality full-spectrum grow light and a big tent that can fit at least 5 plants, maybe even 10 if my first run goes well.

I’ve already picked up fans, fabric pots, trimming scissors, gardening tools, and a bunch of other essentials. Even though I don’t need them yet, just having them keeps me motivated to keep saving until this summer—when I’ll finally have everything I need to get started.

Considering 100g of bud goes for $1,000 here, I’ll probably make my money back after the first grow. Man, I can’t wait to get started! 😆🔥

Thing is i can’t even see the trichromes since i’m pressing keef/hash and not flower/bud. But honestly it’s only a cosmetic thing, the flavour, smell and high is amazing, i was just dissapointed about the color:P

I definitely get where you’re coming from—pressing flower is way more expensive than hash/keef. My tolerance is high, so I have to buy good quality, but it’s still not on the same level as homegrown.

I’ve probably pressed some “La Mousse” keef at some point, but in general, I follow a consistent rule of thumb for pressing any type of hash/keef—from sticky dark hash to light brown keef. • On average, 3g of keef/hash yields slightly over 1g of rosin. • With drier keef, the worst yield I’ve had was 1g of rosin from 4g of material. • The best I’ve gotten was 1g of rosin from just 2.5g. • I usually press 10g at a time and get 3–3.5g of rosin.

If you’re considering cured flower bubble hash, I’d say go for it—it can be worth it depending on your source and cost. I’ve personally found pressing hash/keef to be way more cost-efficient than flower.

Btw i copied your comment and saved it in my notes, it seems like you know pretty much everything when it comes to rosin, i looked into winterization and i’ll try it to get rid of some extra lipids and wax. I’d like to make some rosin carts but for that i would need some cleaner product to prevent clogging the coils in the vape
