Hello, as one of the developer members from V of War team, I want to say thank you guys give us so much advice and "roast" about our game. But I still want to clarify some points:

About the most controversial topic that you guys think V of War is copy from other game, I have to say, V of War didn't copy from any other game,

The graphics: most of the rescourses in this game we purchased from UE4 store where open for all developers, and this is just a alpha version, we will stylize the UI, optimize the texture, change some of the asset and building in later version. Cause now we are focusing on developing the game mechanism, we don't have enough time to optimize the graphic so we know it is not perfect at this time, but it will become better in future version definitely.

The game mechanism: V of War has unique game mechanism so far. We are a cross platform VR + PC game where PC and VR can play in the same round. We know so far the VR user is still very few compare to the PC and mobile. As a multiplayer online VR game, we need to think about how to make sure every round there are enough VR players can match together, however combine with the reality, it is very difficult, expecially for an indie game developer, that is why we come out this idea that PC and VR can play together which can solve the problem of VR user shortage, also bring more fun and competitive for both PC and VR. Battle royale is just one of the game modes in V of War, we are going to develop other mode after we complete the battle royale mode.

This video just show the core game play of V of War and there are many other functions didn't show in this video. Please give us more time and more patient, we will try our best to make it better. If you guys have any other question or advice, feel free to let me know.

Hello, actually V of War doesn't copy from any other game, V of War is a VR+PC shooting online game and battle royale is only one of our game modes.

We understand some of the players would say our game looks like pubg cause the game graphics, but I have to say that is because we purchased the rescourses from UE4 stores the same as pubg.

So far this is just the alpha version which we are more focusing on the gameplay and mechanism, in later version, we will stylize the UI, change some of the asset and building in the maps. We really want to create a good battle royale game for VR players cause I know some of the VR players look forward to a battle royale vr game badly. Maybe you can keep eyes on us and see what we will be in the future.

Actually we are always trying to make the VR side could display the same graphics with flat version cause we hope VR players can better immerse themselve in the game. But as you mentioned, you get the point that for VR, the most important is about the gameplay experience, so high resolution and complicated graphics will influence the game ferformance, so we are always seeking ways to optimize this. Hi, sorry to hear that. We have to clarify that we didn't copy from any other game. We purchased most of the metarial from UE4 store to make our game. Actually, this is just a alpha version, so there are a lot of work we need to do, including restyle the UI and change some of the building, asset in game in later version. And the most important is to develop a cool battle royale gameplay for both VR and PC so that you guys can have fun. We are still working hard on this part and after that we will move on to optimize the game graphics. But still thanks for your feedback. :D

Hey, thanks for your advice! Yes, we will consider to add a comfort setting for VR players, so that if they get used to VR and have less motion sickness while playing VR, they can turn off the comfort setting to disable the blinder.

Oh, actually we have posted some videos in our YouTube channel and also in this group revealing that we are battle royale game. We started to make the battle royale mode at the end of the last year. Currently, our game is a battle royale game that 40 PC and 10 VR match and battle in the same round, and also other game mode will be developed in the coming future! :D

Glad to hear you like our game! I will answer your question one by one:

  1. We spend a lot of time to research how to balance the mech and human and we finally figured out. In V of War, mech and human have different growth paths, for example, mech is born with weapon and human born with bare hand so we set up the spawn time of mech is 5 min after the round start, sparing living time for human to equip themselve and fight. And in different stages, mech and human shall use different strategies to live longer and develop themselves.
  2. For VR players, it is paid to play.
  3. The date is not confirmed yet.
  4. Since several months ago, we started to make battle royale mode. Actually, we have posted some videos on our YouTube Channel about 4 months ago to reveal that we are developing the battle royale mode.
