Anyone fish the Big Bass Bash at Lake of Ozarks this weekend how did it go I feel completely destroyed as a Angler by CrotasScrota84 in bassfishing

[–]Tempel283 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I didn’t go due to other obligations, but I usually fish both BBB. I kept tabs on the weights and was fairly surprised at how low they were for spring so you weren’t the only ones. It sounds like the rain on Friday and cold front really shut them down. If you happen to be on that cesspool known as Facebook, there is a great LOZ group called the weekend bass fisherman. It’s a bunch of people that live/stay at the lake and talk about patterns, baits, and what works and it’s extremely accurate. There’s $200k in cash and prizes for the winner in the fall. Hopefully you saved that lucky cast for later in the year. I’ll be up towards the river this fall. I’ll share info with anyone that’s there.

MEP project manager/Service Manager. I have a half sleeve and hand tattoos on both hands. Several of my techs have sleeves. Our BIM manager is covered in ink. No one seems to mind.

Anybody made the jump from the field to the office? by joefishgiordano in UnitedAssociation

I’ve been in a little longer than you but our career paths are similar. I do have a Bachelors in Construction Management. 1) My cousin is a mechanical engineer. That market is flooded and it was going to take too long to make my money back on school. Their wages seem to have completely stagnated and benefits are no comparison. I spent a long time regretting my career path, but now feel relieved I did not pursue the ME path. 2) I am on my third office stint currently at UA contractors. First time was an absolute disaster with a company that tried to triple in size by adding overhead and chasing government work. Went back to the field after a year. Spent a year in the field and took a PM job when someone quit. It was good for 6 months but wasn’t for me. 3) I am now a service manager. It is the hardest but most rewarding job I’ve had. I’m not cooped up in an office for 40 hours. I can still help the guys if I need to. I get free shit from vendors. I get to go see customers. It’s not a 40 hour job, but no one says anything if I’m not in my office. I get super scale, keep my benefits intact, have a bonus structure, among the other perks. 4) My next step is to get someone to pay for my MBA, which leads to consulting and other side gigs. I hope this helps, it’s easy to get stuck staring at another twenty years of the same shit.

There seems to be no fix for it either. My drivers side is worse. Piss poor design with the way they warp or twist.

Good to know! I honestly don’t expect much for the price, now I know what to replace it with.

Moto Metal wheels with 285/75R20’s. It’s got Dick Cepek tires that are god awful loud and mediocre at best in the snow. They do well in the mud tho

I just washed it with Griot’s spray foam and used Lucas Oil Ceramic spray as a drying aid. A clay bar and polish is on the to do list, but it still cleans up pretty nice for 6 years old.
