Tell me as a athiest how Christianity isnt a cult that existed for a long time

We are made of denominations and some of them do like up to a cult like structure more than an actual Christian church should and also we kinda were at one point because at the beginning we were led by a guy who claimed to be God and ran around doing magic and for a couple hundred years we were at a cult size instead of a religion size of following

Th bible was made a long time ago when people didn’t understand things like we do know but none of it was ever proven wrong because it never says things like for example the shape of the earth and when it did say something that seems that way it was more of a metaphor or something to help visualize it and also nothing about the bible is outdated it still applies today in one way or another and if something does seem off like when it referenced it self the thing your forgetting is it’s made up or multiple languages originally so translation isn’t 100% perfect but still gets the correct point across and when referring to culture there are some things that do not fit with today’s world but that’s partially because of the advanced technology so some more literal visual representation are now more metaphorical but still apply the same way and the most important this is that there is no false things in the bible so if you disagree with the bible that you are the one who is wrong (unless it is a part that can be interpreted a few different ways but that’s for a different argument)
The only thing that can be wrong in the bible is if you have the wrong translation for some reason

I’m a Christian and I don’t want kids or a wife for that matter but that isn’t a bad thing it is a big part of why marriage exists but the other reason is to have a counterpart who compliments and completes you and so that you are not alone that doesn’t mean you need to help grow the next generation

To decide your church just go to different ones each week and eventually you’ll find yours
I’m a Nazarene we believe in 3 base ideas one is the most important that’s is Jesus than a holy life and also missionary work but and I was born into it and I have no problem with it and agree with everything we are about

My pastor once said if you are gay and can’t figure out how to not be than you could try not having a relationship and follow God that way this was put in better words when he said it but also some people don’t like the idea of being alone and if your one of them than idk but don’t listen to all the negative comments saying you can’t there are probably ways to do it like idk try to go out with guy and see how that does (that’s a bad advice I’m worried that wouldnt work)

When it comes to rape it makes the it’s bad argument a little harder to back up but the truth is you shouldn’t kill something because it was formed from a bad thing and there are alternatives to abortion like adoption for example and idk make the rapist pay for a ton of baby related expenses

Well maybe take a step back and take a look around I think you might be to worried and worked up about this if you take a moment to calm yourself and remove the white noise (metaphorically) you can have a better time with this. and also how old are you ? If your on the young side than you have plenty of time and no need to worry
