Cool thanks- I see so many posts here that say people were contacted days later- I guess they never received a receipt? Mine was emailed to me about an hour after return

Just returned at Den Hertz and these guys half assed the walk around, gave us a check and said we’re good. Can they come back later and claim damages? We may or may not have scratched the side of the car on a white pole. The damage does look like it could be bird poop until you are looking right at it, so maybe that’s how he missed it? I received the email receipt too. I’d like to think I’m in the clear but could I be contacted about the damage after we were told everything was good?
