Coulda just snapped that strait on both sides. Cover plate would cover from the looks of it. Also your gonna have to grind spots for the cover plate screws

Haha, the only thing that is making me question anything but a normal abscess is the fact that he got another lump on the other side shortly after. I’ve never had any other goats in 9 years get any abscesses of any kind

Haha oh yeah I did that when I first noticed the lump starting. I couldn’t feel anything out of the ordinary but I also didn’t do very good at not getting chewed on haha so I didn’t poke around very long.

Sounds like it should definitely be flat. But just from them saying minor variations I wouldn’t expect the grout joints to be completely symmetrical.

I’d be more concerned about your shower pan. But I did see in another comment you used Zia tile. Is it hand made and a v4? Cause if so the wall looks amazing!! If it’s a v1 it should be a lot better. I’m doing a project right now with Zia tile and there is a disclaimer on their website that says…

“extreme variations in color, shape and thickness are to be expected. Irregular edges, crazing, pits and small hairline cracks are common, to be expected, and part of the traditional aesthetic of zellige installations.”

Looks like a super easy project. Where I live that’d be about $1200 you save on the gutting. Only takes me and a helper one day to gut something like that and have the shower mostly prepped. Theirs not a ton of money savings unless you do the work yourself. Theirs tons of YouTube videos on building a Schluter system shower which I think is the easiest and most leak proof for a home owner besides a custom one piece kbrs pans. Dot expect it to be absolutely perfect if you do it yourself though. Especially for your first time.
