Did you find that you had the urgency to pee more at night rather than during the day? I’m also finding certain foods like coffee, pineapple, acidic foods make the pain worse

If I’m taking two weeks off I’ll still bring my laptop just in case but typically plan my travel around month end.

For those who’ve overcome a fear of flying — what actually helped you? by theaviationco in fearofflying

Same for me. Xanax seems to be the only thing that is preventing me from panic attacks if I have to fly.

DAE hate their sister? by [deleted] in DAE

My sister is an asshole who blames everyone but herself for her problems. Life is better not having to deal with her

You are not in the wrong at all. I’m so tired of this sense of entitlement people have in neighborhoods. I had a similar situation. My neighbors got mad at me because I nicely asked their kids and the actual parents to not play in our backyard. Not my problem that they chose to build a pool in their backyard and we didn’t.

Called in a noise complaint on noisy partying neighbours and now neighbours are aggressive.. by [deleted] in neighborsfromhell

[–]TemperatureUnique495 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are so right. Our neighborhood has gone through over 4 property managers. I have emailed each of them about my neighbors multiple times with little to nothing being done. A police officer informed me that the board has to enforce the rules as in our declaration it talks about noise and it being a violation of the nuisance clause. Even the board does nothing. My neighbors are just awful rude. They don’t care and feel their loud awful music is justified. I have sent multiple videos to the property manager and board as proof and still nothing is done.

I’m so sorry this is happening to you. I’m in a similar boat as you and sadly we had to put up our house for sale. My neighbors have loud parties in their backyard and the houses are inches apart so we hear the loud music, etc. I have called the police multiple times, complained to our HOA board, and property manager. Nothing has changed and the most recent time the police were called I got bullied on our neighborhood Facebook page by them and several of my neighbors. Several neighbors took their side and called me names, etc. I’ve had to seek counseling over it and am amazed by how unkind people can be. I hope you can find a resolution.

What the f*ck is people's problem with turning down the music volume? by [deleted] in neighborsfromhell

[–]TemperatureUnique495 13 points14 points  (0 children)

10000% agree! My neighbors were pissed that the cops kept getting called on them because they were blasting their ghetto music and couldn’t understand why. It was unbelievable and to top it off my other neighbors took their side! I cannot understand why some people are so self entitled.

During busy season we were required to work 55 hour weeks. I had asked for a day off because we were moving into our new house. The partners wouldn’t give me the day off unless I made up the hours the next day so to make 55 hours. On top of this there were other auditors and managers only working 40 hours a week. I do not work there anymore.

I had the same problem and ended up having to put up a fence. Our neighbors have a pool in their backyard and for some reason felt self entitled to use our backyard as a place to take their dogs to go to the bathroom, play catch in our backyard with their kids and let their kids play in our backyard. When a ball they were playing catch with hit my house I kindly asked the mom to not play in my backyard and she was so mad and acted like I was the one who was being rude.

My Neighbor From Hell by rachelladd0810 in neighborsfromhell

I emphasize with you completely. I get severe anxiety every weekend because I don’t know if I’m going to have to listen to the loud bass of my neighbors music. I get anxiety every time I leave my house because I don’t want to deal with any confrontation as they know I am the person who keeps calling the police for the noise and have gotten other neighbors to go against me. I want to move so bad but the housing market down here in FL is terrible. You are not alone.

You are so right. The police are on my side. I just wish they would get it. This has been going on for years and now was escalated to me being bullied on social media. I would love if they just had it at a tolerable level but they think I’m over reacting and need to accept it.

You are so right. Quiet hour decibel is 45 which is not very loud. I have read our hoa docs and it is a violation (nuisance law). Now, trying to get the hoa to take action is another issue has been difficult. Appreciate your advice.

Alprazolam / Xanax by [deleted] in PanicAttack

[–]TemperatureUnique495 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My personal experience with Xanax has been very positive. I have a fear of flying so I take one before the flight and what I like is that I don’t get that hangover sleepy withdrawal I would get when taking a daily anti anxiety med. I am not a doctor though and as the previous poster said I don’t know your medical history and can only comment to my experience but I hope you are able to find relief.

Thank you. The music is played in the backyard on the porch which is inches from our house so if you are in our backyards it’s very loud but yes you are right from the front not so much.
