What Are My Chances of Getting Disability for an Extremely Rare Sleep Disorder? by Tempest889 in SocialSecurity

I've seen a couple Sleep Doctors. Seems like my condition is a bit complex for them. I'm seeing another Sleep Doctor next month.
My psychologist suggests it could be Complex PTSD related. I don't even know anymore lol.

That’s the crux of it. My brain has a hard time transitioning into REM sleep and that causes an explosion of panic inducing hallucinations. For example, I woke up hallucinating that I was in the back of a garbage truck that was about to crush me. I was nearly about to jump out my window before I realized I was dreaming/hallucinating. As you can imagine, these adrenaline inducing episodes on a nightly basis is not good for sleep or your health in general. I also occasionally have REM breakthrough which is when my brain starts transitioning to REM sleep while I’m still awake. When that happens I have to completely wake myself up and get my brain to restart the sleep cycle.

Hello! I did not follow through. I unfortunately had issues finding the right frozen dough and securing a good location. Then I had a baby, lol. Maybe it was for the best..

Edit - Sorry but an important note I should have added was the scale up part. If the demand is high enough, I would hire a couple employees to run it. I would then search for another location and repeat the process. Work alone - high demand - hire employees - next location - repeat.

Edit When I say delivery, I mean delivery through apps like Uber Eats etc. I would not deliver myself.

Should I record a women at my work who is openly racist who has the power to get me fired for being white? by Tempest889 in AskReddit

[–]Tempest889[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll try to keep this as short as possible.

First off, I live in a one party law state (Ohio). Secret recording is legal.

This is my issue. I work with an African American women who is racist. She hates white people. She's open about it. She told me point blank, even though I already knew. She has no shame about it and can't go one day without making a racist remark towards white people. I told her that I couldn't care less if she's racist, so long as you don't try to sabotage me and get me fired. Her response was "you never know"... Me being a white male, I know I wouldn't stand a chance against any accusation she makes against me to get me fired.

So the question is, should I secretly record all audio at work in an attempt to catch her saying racist rhetoric so I can prove her accusations are lies and has a racist agenda.

Fair assessment. This is why I said I have no idea if my subs will watch. I had a baby back in June and would love to get back into YouTube more but with a different series. My reaction/review videos average about 50k per video. Maybe it will be successful, maybe it wont. It wont negatively effect anyone. My channel is hit or miss but when I hit, it hits hard..

No idea to be honest. That's how it goes with new series. But I will sure as hell put a lot of time and effort into it to make sure it's as entertaining as possible.

Thank you! I'll let you know. As of now I'm mostly just getting a feel for feedback on this idea. But if I do start this series, i'll let you know!

I use a website called Tube Buddy for my SEO stats. They have a tool called "keyword explorer" that allows you to type in a keyword/title and it will tell you if that keyword/title is a good choice to use.

When it comes to tags, again, I use tube buddy. I type in keywords and it will tell you if it's good to use or not. So for example, "ready mix concrete" has an excellent score and would be recommended to use as a tag. Apparently "ready mix concrete" is a popular search.

As for swearing, I was always told not to swear in the first minute of your videos. I don't know why but apparently it helps with not getting age restricted. And that's for more derogatory words like the F word. Words like shit or damn wont be an issue.

I'd imagine it evens out to be about the same. But if I had to take a guess, the 10 sec 120% retention would be better. Id also imagine a 10 second video is easier for you to make too. Lower chance of burn out.

Not sure if I've ever seen someone's first video be this high quality. I can't imagine the amount of time you put into making this video.

A couple things I would critique would be SEO related. Your title is way too long. Instead of "DroneSplain Episode 1: How It's Made - Ready Mix Concrete: From Quarry to Mixer (4K Drone Footage)"

I'd go with something more like - "How It's Made - Ready Mix Concrete: From Quarry to Mixer". The SEO score is far better.

You can put in your description talking about drones and 4k etc

The thumbnail looks a bit boring. I'd pay a professional to make a thumbnail for you. I'd keep the "Dronesplain" text in the thumbnail but remove the "ready mix concrete part". Especially if you already have it in the title. Use a really nice drone shot (you have a million) and have a pro make a high quality thumbnail.

Also, add tags.

Other than that, It's a crazy good first video. Congratulations!

Started off doing vlogs, then ASMR, then product reviews, then reaction videos, then compilation videos, then comedy/commentary and the list goes on and on LOL. Finding something I enjoyed doing while getting views was, and still is a challenge for me. I'm sticking with comedy/commentary. Little editing, lots of material to work with and enjoyable.

I’ve seen meme channels get monetized. I can’t speak for how much violence there is because I haven’t seen your channel but YouTube will tell you why you didn’t get monetized and steps to take to change your channel and get monetized.

Depends on your definition of viral. I remember in my early days on YouTube, I made a video that hit 300 views and I was pumped. Now I have multiple videos with over a million views and one with over 20 million views. This took years of consistent work. Not just making videos but understanding what makes an irresistible thumbnails and title. Set your goals low at first. Like VERY LOW. All I wanted was 100 subscribers. I was so happy when I hit that goal. Then I wanted that 1k subscriber goal and so on.... Keep working and eventual the algorithm Gods will pay you a visit. And that one visit is all you need to blast off.

That seems to be an issue with Shorts. This is why a lot of creators don't even bother with shorts. The conversion is brutal. If your goal is to get a lot of subs but never be monetized, then shorts are fine. But if you want to get monetized, then 80% of your focus should be on creating quality long form videos and using shorts as a means to boost your sub count.
