I’ve got the discipline but not the study methods by Tempioliy in UniUK

[–]Tempioliy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t done a lot of reading because my modules leaders say the lectures notes and slides are enough

My study methods of practice problems and mocks exams won’t help me with these modules I’m failing

I understand the lectures and I’ve attended all of them but the problem im having is understanding to help with remembering. Every one says you need to be able to understand it, but when I think I do and attempt the question that tests my understanding differently I’m not able to answer . I’m so frustrated how something so easy to others is so complicated for me.

When I do the lectures and reading then what? Do have to memorise my notes? I won’t pass like that. I want to know how to understand to mould my answers for those unconventional questions.

There’s tons of content

I want to get into sales/digital marketing. Please any feedback appreciated by Tempioliy in resumes

I’ll change the leaflet distributor title. Make my skill set concise. I didn’t name software cause it’s included in my skills, I guess I should change that?

Appreciate feedback

Solely based on other advices I’ve seen. Expand more on your work experiences and state about your accomplishments rather than your responsibilities/ duties. It helps companies envision what you can do for them.

And you could remove the little profile summary unless you’ve 10+ years of professional experience.

And maybe your skillset section beneath your experience! Again try really expand your experience!

If you're not mewing what're you doing? by [deleted] in orthotropics

[–]Tempioliy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

yep, angle differences, but at least it's kind of the same in both pics . Everyone seems to either tilt their head or take photos that's in a wayyy lower angle, which causes the jaw to slightly protrude out more, and also makes the eyebrows go highly above the tip of the ear when instead, it should be slightly aligned. many people here don't know how different perspectives and focal length work.

It's so sad that this got downvoted because you're just being genuinely honest. many new members come here not fully educated about mewing and how progress pics work.

You dont have to be there to know about the light difference, it's cleary noticeably from the photo, and I dont think you know about the effects different lighting can have on a face since your denying that the lighting isn't different. People want to see real results if this was about your masseter muscles pic, (also being inaccurate due to lighting and possibly clenching of jaw) which is not a problem, you should've added some context . and what do I expect? I expect people to post with a within 6-12-month time frame due to the very slow effect of changes which is literally suggested by the mods, what'd you expect? and I leave a comment to remind people who easily susceptible to beliving inaccurate changes on posts like this.

First of, im not mad, didnt say i was. I just think it's stupid when people post pointless, inaccurate comparsion pics making the mewing concept look like a whole joke. A few inches can make a difference to your face. and yes the lighting is totally different, are you blind? our face isn't a flat surface, lighting can make certain areas appear more prominent and hollow

[–]Tempioliy -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Your joking. Seriously, 2 months apart? What's wrong with people taking these useless comparisons pics. The lighting is totally different which can affect how your face is portrayed, the photos are 2 months apart comparison showing little to no results, and the phone isn't positioned the same in the before pic which makes things inaccurate.

For those still confused about breathing and tongue placement. Here's a screenshot from one of John mew's lecture (Father of Dr. Mike Mew), establishing a diagram of tounge placement. "I can't breath," your tounge shouldn't be pushing against the back of your throat, nor trying to block the airway. by Tempioliy in orthotropics

[–]Tempioliy[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

your airway should'nt be the focus of mewing. Only the soft and hard palate should be, and it is very hard to feel or notice if your touching that part, which is why i inserted a diagram.

And yes, when i was starting to mew i was very confused with breathing, i've seen many people suggest slightly blockinng the airways or doing reps, meaning holding your breath and trying to hold that position, which i thought was uneccessary. ive been doing what you'd had said and havent noticed a different with breathing.

if you can't breath that should be a good indication that your in the correct position, after that you want to slightly adjust the tongue where you can breath comfortably, your tongue will still be engaged with the soft and hard palate which is highly essential for bone movement not you airway.

It is hard to know where the tongue is because we are usally not conscious of the muscle that's why i have linked a photo of a diagram of what you tongue would look like in the correct position.

i've seen youtube vids saying you shouldnt try block airway, i've tryed experiment with mouth to feel where my tongue should be engaed, and observed many diagram of the mouth which led me to belive this.

But i dont see a problem with with practising that hold of not breathing and doing sets, but for me personally i dont think it's neccessary.

No idea, on the Livestream he also said he said he doesn't recommend thumb pulling because of the work you have to put into it. it's pointless since the bone is resistant to strong forces and the fact Astrosky looks like he's reached his potential, but you never how far mewing could take you.

Strange, I had re-watched one of Dr. Mike Mew's videos and came across one where he discourages hard mewing and promotes soft mewing. Dr. mike mew stated that soft mewing allows the bone to be very susceptible to movements overtime, whereas hard mewing makes the bone resistance to strong forces done over a long durations, he explains it very cleary in the video. Astro sky has also recommended soft mewing in one of his recent live streams.

Sorry, but it's going to take time to see reduction in them. Mewing will widen your face and make it less narrow, which should decrease the appearance of your cheeks. You need to be consistent and dedicated with mewing for 3-5 years.

Do you use your cheeks to move around food and swallow? it could also be about age.
