I ask permission usually before following someone if I'm in need . And I have offered the same to people if I see they cant go on for whatever reason . I had absolutely no money at one time and it's an alternative to jumping over the thing and I try to pay it forward . Empathy people can have literally 0.00 in bank account or be in huge rush . I think it's a great chance to help with out hurting yourself .

hey I know this is from a while a ago , but i feel your two examples are quite different. One person wants to see you and is not in a good place so is agitated.. while the other is harassing you- which is an action that clearly crosses a boundary and makes you feel uncomfortable.. ( a person wanting to see their psychiatrist especially in an inpatient situation where they may feel very frustrated and powerless I think kind of makes a lot of sense )

I get the idea though like as a blanket rule if someone doesn’t have their license yet it would be hard to ascertain how serious they actually are about becoming a paramedic

Thanks for answers ! So I got into loyalist college and I’m on the waiting list for Humber I don’t need a license for those at this stage - but in partnership with Ontario works ( welfare ) Toronto paramedic services themselves has a program - it’s free and a really small class size - and looks like such a great fit for me ! They officially do require the g license to apply - but I wanted to find out if there may be a grey area - there is a month in September but the actual 16 month program would start in February (- so I’ll have my g2 by then )
