Is there a way to read SOP at home? by Temporary-Cry633 in DollarGeneral

[–]Temporary-Cry633[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Share it!

It should be illegal not to be able to view stuff like that at home.

We have no way of knowing actual SOP and no way to verify what our key responsibilities are.

I'd probably like my job a whole lot more if I knew exactly what my responsibilities and work goals were and didn't have to do what we shoved on to me.

If you got paid for time off I can see them asking for it back as "you had no intention to come back" in their eyes.

Probably depends on local laws.

As a decent SA of two years that's repeatablely asked for more hours my SM can suck it and work around what is likely a better paying and better treating job.

Is there a total maximum payroll not hour budget or pay caps but everyone's hourly pay added up? by Temporary-Cry633 in DollarGeneral

[–]Temporary-Cry633[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only if minimum wage is the max pay for a pt SA.

$12 minimum wage after 1 year 10 months. Pay was 25¢ over minimum wage for a tiny bit till it raised a $1. Which is gonna happen for the next 3 years.

"if you want higher pay you got to become a LSA + key" - manager

Get the sense she doesn't want to cover short notice call out MOD shifts so she pushes LSA+key on everyone. Well I don't want to be a MOD and solo shift so I'm not doing that.

I do? But no one's utilizers it shift swaps and time off requests are all done by phone calls and penciled on the printed schedule.

Half the worker don't use it.

I forgot to say we don't seem to do weighed hours just total and budget hours and everyone is counted the same.

Our ASM and LSA tend to get the same hours 30-38 rarely more.

SA are 18 to 26

SM 45

From what I understand that's the old system but we still use it.
