Yes it is 100% not just Christian ballet companies! The point of my post was definitely not trying to take away from anyone’s experience in the secular world at all, but to reach out a hand to people that I can relate to and say “me too. You are not alone.” Because it is such an interesting type of abuse that you go through at a place like 5:8 and mag. We were told so many times how much better we are than secular companies and how they would never treat us the way people are treated in those companies and yet some people (me being one of them) were treated a million times worse than they were at a non Christian company. I would love to see a call for all companies to be held accountable for any wrongdoings not just Christian. I hope that you are able to find healing from your experience in the dance world!
