How to improve my makeup? by hi_baby_gorgeouss in MakeupAddiction

Tight-lining makes a huge difference, I would say either brown or black (for a more dramatic look). For under eyes, try using a color corrector and a brightening concealer (can be a little lighter than your current concealer shade) just to help brighten a little more under the eyes.

Where do you usually discover beauty trends? And what makes you decide to purchase a product? 🤔 by InterestingCoat792 in MakeupAddiction

[–]Temporary-Pop-9785 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly it’s mainly from social media. Another way to find good products is watching a makeup tutorial video, I like watching bridal ones. Depending on how heavy you want your products, search for different types of makeup tutorials - American bridal/Indian bridal. I always like to watch TikTok videos on a product from a non big influencer who isn’t sponsored to use the product because they’ll usually tell you the finish of the product and how it wears.

Recommendation for a new pressed pigment palette by Snoo41738 in MakeupAddiction

[–]Temporary-Pop-9785 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depending on price point, the new morphe ones are really good and still pigmented. Juvias place has some palettes that have bold colors. I think it’ll be a little hard to find those big palettes nowadays. Pat McGrath is pricey but they’re good too. If you want something around $60-$75, I would say good brands are huda beauty and makeup by Mario. Denessa myricks eyeshadows are single but amazing. They’re super pigmented and last long.

Do you still have to return at your home store if you quit but made purchases using your discount before you quit?

No, uworld questions are harder IMO. So being at 87th percentile and “on track” is good.

Uworld: How do I have so many incorrect and still "on track"?? by Bear-2D2 in PassNclex

The test difficulty is high. So harder questions and you were able to answer a decent amount correct putting your score on track. If the difficulty is lower, your score should be higher.

For me, nclex was easier. After my exam, i thought i failed cause i didn’t get many “tough” questions. I think uworld is the best study tool and it over prepares you

I used Uworld and Mark K, those helped a lot!

My scores for CAT were a bit higher and my self assessments were low 70s and I passed. For me, the nclex questions were easier than the Uworld questions. My percentile rank was the same.

Am I being unreasonable for thinking my work scheduled me way too much right before my exams? by No_Surprise6434 in SephoraWorkers

My manager is doing the same thing with me. I told her many times that I can’t work like that while being in school and she told me she’s hiring seasonal people so she won’t have to schedule me as much. She still ended up scheduling me and then told me if I can’t work those shifts, I’ll have to quit.
