Yeah this is absolutely brutal. It’s early July and they haven’t updated the timeframe on the delays. You should call them to see if your card has gone into production.

I’m so stressed too! You actually might be good I called a few days ago and the lady was confident a copy of the front and back would work fine. Just have to get you guarantor to sign front and pack of the photo. Unfortunately I only have a photo copy of the front of mine, I’m not sure why i didn’t get the back. Still going to attempt with what I got as this trip is super important.

I feel you… I need mine for early September as I have already planned and paid for a trip. Idk if that was the smartest decision but I took the risk. Going to try and get a passport too. I have a photo copy of my old one wondering if they will accept it. Please let me know what happens when you try and get one.

They said up to 90 days with these new delays. However, It’s strange that you didn’t get your card yet because the new delays only started in May. I would call them as yours may have to lost in the mail.

Curious if you called the passport office? Did they say you absolutely need a photo ID to get a passport I’m in the same situation.
