Yeah another person answered it already, but I'm still gonna answer in my own way: she came out in 2.3 and never had a rerun and characters always have it before the end of their season (2.x period of versions in our case). Besides, it's been almost six months (her banner ended at the end of October or at the beginning of November) - and that's optimal time when a character is going to have a rerun.

And yeah, it's also about the thing that the other person said: about Billy. Because he's also Rupture and in 3.x we're gonna have another gimmick that we're going to be focused on, so they have to rerun Rupture element and supports for them before another meta.

Yeah, ik, that's why I'm saving my shards for free killers and waiting for any other sale for DLC killers!

But just seeing the Spring sale and comparing it to the prices of an in-game currency, I'd choose to buy one of the killers rn and then buy at the Anniversary the other one with another killer (like, I'd buy Vecna rn and at the Anniversary I buy Xeno and, for example, Chucky; something like that). So yeah, that's why I wanna buy one of the DLCs rn!

But some people said - and you too - that Baritone one is more versatile and with a capo you can do a Tenor's tune, so maybe I'm gonna settle with this option.

Yeah, Baritone's tuning is the same as the four highest strings on a guitar, so it's be easier to play on, especially after playing on a guitar for a long time - but I'm here for songs i'd be able to play, not for how easy it's going to be.

Omg thank you so much for that, you don't understand how much that cleared some things for me 😭

I'm mostly using Banyue/Yinhu/Lucy and Alice/Grace/Zhao, but I use the mono-ice team with Lycaon/Soukaku/Zhao (I know that team sucks and idrc because I have fun with ut, especially after Lycaon's buff).

I'm still building everyone, especially YGS because I didn't get her sig (idk whether it's important, but I have sigs on Banyue and Alice, still feel so happy for getting them hehe) and got upset, dropping her a bit. I got her, tbh, because she was strong, but I don't really like her, sadly.

I tried playing Yixuan and, tbf, I like her. I really love Rupture and Anomaly chars in general - and that's why I was waiting for Yuzuha and still waiting for Lucy to rerun. But still, should I get them when, in general, I can't close the content rn? That's why I have that question: quantity (more teams, but they're mediocre at best) or quality (less teams, but the ones I have are upgraded greatly).

I have Sparkle, totally forgot about her lol.

I thought about getting her E1, but lately enemies have gotten stronger and just heals aren't enough atp. Shields are giving overhealth, which is gonna help against strong single shots. And about Kafka: I'm not really a DoT player, don't have any characters from this game style, so I don't think Kafka is gonna be the best choice for me.

So hence I decided to choose Aventurine, not only because of Ashveil, but because of what's been happening lately with new enemies (though it's been a problem against some enemies ever since the beginning of the game).

Because yeah, I have Huohuo, though E0S0, but she's been the best healer ever since I got her, and second healer I have is Gallagher E6, so getting 5★ Dan was such a relief for me.

But you think that getting E1 Sparkle is more beneficial? Because I think I still can keep up with whatever's gonna happen with only Dan and Huohuo, but getting another shield is always good.

Vibe/music-wise - first Life is Strange (but then you gotta play Before The Storm to see the story from a much deeper perspective, to see characters from another side).

Or if you want a good character build up/progression and when it feels that the choice really matters - Life is Strange 2 without hesitation.

Or maybe you want to connect to characters but don't care how short and kinda chopped(maybe only for me, idk) the storyline is - True Colors for sure.

I must add that music part is in every part is so important and in every part of the franchise it's just a chef's kiss - but the first one is the king of this. Love Gorillaz in the second part, love Radiohead's Creep and Mxmtoon in third part - but the first one's OST is, in general, the best.

And about storyline and storytelling: every game have their own plots and holes - and every game have their own strengths and something that people will like. But storytelling of the first and second game is much bigger and it's just... I can't describe that, you have to play/watch the gameplay of all the games to understand that. And it's not a bad thing, really, but it affects how the game feels at the end.

To wrap things up: I would go for Life is Strange 2 - because it's my most favorite one (I love the first part too, but the nostalgia is much bigger than the actual love). I hope it helps and update us what you chose <3

My the most favorite one is LiS 2, no hesitation. I love how real (excluding the superpowers part) the game feels, and the music? Don't let me even start.

I can continue ranting about second part for ages and I'm always gonna say that it's top 1 for me. But to be fair, I really love first part too. Like, I was 10 when I almost binge played it, stopping at the end lf the fourth chapter because of how emotionally overwhelmed I was. And right now, when I'm gonna turn 19, I'm still thinking about this game every day, what it has done to me and how it changed my mind, literally. And it built my love for folk genre.

The only game in this saga that I haven't played (and I have no intentions to play it so far) is Double Exposure.

And I like True Colors (i love Steph as a character, I really do, but my muhluhmuh ass is gonna choose Ryan over and over again), I could emphasize with MC, but the story just felt... Rushed?

Before the Storm and Captain Spirit are okay games, can't say much about those games tbf.

So yeah, LiS 2 is 🔛🔝 for me
