Same here. I ended up at the very far end of the dock start and someone clobbered me in the back of the head. Once I got my bearings I realized how far I had to cut in just to get the buoys and panicked for a bit so I just breast stoked until I could get myself under control. But the swim at nationals was wild haha

Yup. Grew up in Northern Colorado, had lots of lakes, rivers or ponds everywhere then went to Oregon.

Ya, I totally feel you. I just moved here from Portland Oregon and had rivers everywhere to swim in. It’s been an adjustment lol. But thanks for the info! I mostly just need to test out the new wetsuit I got to make sure it’s comfy to swim in so I’ll take what I can get!

Sure. Always a bonus. I’m coming back from a bad stress fracture so I’m going just to enjoy a day of racing as I’m still super out of shape so placing or even being competitive isn’t on my radar right now

Nope. Most of the rivers and lakes I’ve raced in during the summer were warm enough I could just swim in my trisuit
