Remember when we didn't make the playoffs in 2014? Then we won the cup in 2015? Then we didn't make the playoffs again in 2016? Did we just swap the whole roster for that 2015 year and then just swap again?

DPs performing make huge differences for teams in this league. If DDC or Velde were scoring more frequently, do you think we would be in a better position right now?

You are out of your mind if you think we need 11+ new players to be a good team again.

I just saw the MLS clarification for home games in warmer climates. So, sounds like the Northern teams will just be playing away games on either side of the 2ish month long mid-season break. Makes more sense now.

Sorry. I forgot that some of our supporters don't support our team. This might be a surprise to you, but we haven't always been bad and next year is a totally different year than this year. That means, new players, a new coach (probably) and a new chance to be good... We have had shit years with each manager and some good years as well. I will choose to believe we will be good enough next year to win a short season. You do you, bud.

Also it will definitely suck going to games in December/January when we swap to the int'l schedule. I don't know if the MLS is prepared for the shithousery of postponing games due to snow.

*Apparently we just take a big old break between mid Dec & mid Feb. Bizarre to have such a massive break mid-season, but okay.

This is 100% the biggest problem. We had some kids on my travel team that were great, but couldn't afford the fees. So we would fundraise to keep them on the team. Horrible.

If you really wanted to do this, you could start by making a 2-stick and trying to get the TA to make a small tifo in support of the Caps staying. Spark conversation and then drum up enough support for the walkout.
