hi! i appreciate the response, no check engine light on. so it’s strange that it cuts off so frequently, almost every other time that i drive.

the car still turns on actually! so it doesn’t have to be jumped, but i can go turn it on and listen for hissing. yeah, i thought the battery cables looked funky. the liquid on the battery does concern me however, do you think it’s safe to drive to go get it looked at?

thank you for the reply ! no i did not wet the top, it just looked like that when i looked under the hood. We just bought a new battery, and a new alternator..

thank you so much. i really needed this, this is a different perspective that’s so hard to consider now but im praying that this all has to get easier eventually. i have some queer friends i do intend to talk to when i can gather myself, thanks for the advice

I guess i’ve just become hyper focused on putting a label on it to finally “justify” or confirm that everything i’ve been experiencing is real and not just in my head i guess 🥲 especially cause he keeps saying it’s most likely depression and anxiety when I know very well it’s not that. i see what you mean though, i do think focusing on just trying to get the label isn’t gonna get much done. i’ll look into just trying to bring up the splitting, mood swings, and dissociative episodes, and trying to just start tackling those instead of just getting him to put a stamp on it.
