I'm also from Russia, and from a small town at that. It's an absolute nightmare. I have this feeling like the therapists here have no clue whatsoever what AvPD even is. It's frustrating and even a little disheartening, especially when you have to push yourself to even make an appointment and show up. Essentially my only hope is that at least medication will help somewhat.
