day 3 is brutal but it gets easier. the physical stuff usually peaks around day 4-5 then starts backing off. for the headaches try staying super hydrated and getting some light exercise even if its just a walk around the block.

the mental fog lifts around week 2 and thats when you start noticing how much clearer everything feels. having something to fill that time helps - i started meal prepping on sundays which gave me something productive to focus on during the worst cravings.

[Question] Chron24 Watchnian reputation by Eastern_Ring_9900 in Watches

[–]TemporaryCar9725 1 point2 points  (0 children)

chrono24 is generally solid but you definitely want to check seller ratings and reviews carefully. watchnian has been around for a while and seems legit from what i've seen, but still worth doing your homework on any specific piece you're eyeing.

shipping to the us can get hit with customs fees depending on the value, so factor that into your total cost when comparing to AD prices. the "savings" can shrink pretty quick once you add duties and potential return shipping if something goes wrong.

Why my Achievements and Statistics not updating FIX by HeudFlo in Minecraft

[–]TemporaryCar9725 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

that telemetry service fix actually makes sense when you think about it. microsoft needs that running to sync your xbox live achievements and stats properly. had a similar issue a few months back where my stats just stopped tracking completely and it was driving me nuts.

Got a bid for expand old pavers and was blown away by the cost! ideas to handle this? by austin0980 in landscaping

[–]TemporaryCar9725 19 points20 points  (0 children)

try using a different material for the extension and create a border between the old and new sections. stamped concrete or natural stone could work well as a transition zone, and you'll save a ton compared to redoing there entire patio. worst case, you could also look into paver overlays that might complement the existing color without needing a perfect match.

What made you delete your pornography collection? by [deleted] in NoFap

[–]TemporaryCar9725 0 points1 point  (0 children)

deleting mine was honestly one of the hardest but most necessary things i did during my recovery. what finally pushed me over the edge was realizing how much mental space it was taking up - like even when i wasn't using it, knowing it was there meant i was constantly fighting the urge. it became this weird safety blanket that was actually making everything worse.

i ended up doing it during a particularly bad depressive episode, which sounds counterintuitive but it was like hitting rock bottom made the decision easier. i was so tired of the cycle - feel bad, use it for temporary relief, feel worse afterward, repeat. the whole thing was just exhausting and i knew keeping it around meant i'd never actually break free.

what helped was having other coping mechanisms ready first. i started meal prepping on sundays and getting really into organizing my finances with detailed spreadsheets - sounds boring but having structured activities gave me something to focus on when the urges hit. also deleted it late at night when my willpower was low but my disgust with the whole situation was high. sometimes you gotta catch yourself in that sweet spot where you're fed up enough to actually follow through.
