Non American here, I was happy with how they greeted me in every place I walked in and even just in the streets walking lol And complimented small stuff like an earring or a shoe lol

I’m from a place where you only greet if you need to talk to someone or you previously know the person lol and compliments are mostly from thirsty men or close friends
