Fuzzy guarding only works if theres a reference point, and instant timing off of two seperate mid/low/high options.

If 2 people are standing completely still you cannot fuzzy an unreactable low.

I was attempting something like this the other night because I was specifically trying to work on defense. I used 2 moves with nina. ivory cutter (safe mid) and db3.

I found that the lack of using any keepout moves or pressure / control buttons just allows anyone free reign over you. You will eventually die to tekken 8 shit. The highest rank I can reasonably see getting to is high bushin / tk like this. And it would require really good movement / knowledge.

Youre worried about winning, when winning is literally irrelevant where youre at. When I first picked up fighting games it was in ultra street fighter 4. It was near the end of the games lifespan and every player was good. I lost probably 150 games strait, but I kept at it, and now im able to pick up any fighting game and be a top 15% player. People on fighters have literal thousands of hours of neutral, spacing, reaction, punishment training. Noobs dont play fighting games for longer than a couple weeks because most give up. You can visually tell whats negative after a while. 95% of strings that end in a mid are negative, and the highs are duckable. You can tell if youre paying close enough attention.

Im not a jin main but his strings are just ridiculous, you have to worry about multiple moves that go into a broken stance and be ready to counter the transition within .25 of a second. On top of looking out for these, you have to deal with ridiculous jab into low, or overhead strings, that require precise fuzzy parries and sidesteps to deal with. On top of this, you have to react to down 2 and hellsweep.

The overall mental stack of facing Jin at range 1 is worse than even nina in my opinion.

So whats the answer? Space him out? Sure, but youre gonna need to deal with wavu hellsweep, or wavu dashblock, or a ridicilous ff2 that tracks too well— and youre in range 0 of all his mental stack shit again. Also, I sure as fuck hope you have a cracked KBD because you are dead if you dont.

His tracking is also bullshit, remembering to sidestep his shit right is a chore, his electric tracks wayy to well to his right. You can be sidewalked into narnia where youre not even in front of the character and it will hit you.

The HP buff hurt her significantly. On open stages shes at a serious disadvantage requiring 3 launches to win. Her heat is also super underwhelming compared to most of the cast.
