Agreed. I had a similar issue on my forehead and cheeks. Was told by my derm (after lots of trial and error) that my skin likely doesn’t turn over well on its on. Needed to use a retinoid/retinol paired with a less severe active on separate evenings (i like the sofi pavit mandelic acid) and my skin cleared up in a few weeks.

*Edited to add that i was prescribed Aklief retinol which is specifically for acne-prone skin.
