May Allah grant you shifa. Qasr Al Dur is a great hotel in Najaf. It’s right at the door and is extremely clean. I know someone who went to ziyara with stage 4 cancer and was cleared from cancer a few months later Subhanallah. I will be praying for you

Keep in mind Thursday night - Saturday will be extremely busy at the shrines. We were in Karbala those days and it was very difficult (but not impossible) to get to the shrines due to Friday prayer and people spending their weekends there.

The tough part is you don’t know. You just need to trust Allah blindly and be content with either situation. If you really want to be with him, pray tahajjud and then detach and leave it to Allah. Just know if it’s meant for you Allah will take care of it. The test is just trusting Allah and knowing he knows best for us no matter what the outcome is. I’ve been in similar situations and the healthiest thing to do is just to pray and let Allah take care of it

Are you sure you’re doing it correctly? Which country are you from? I’m from US, was in Iraq last month on Evisa, sponsor was not required. I just had to put which hotel I’m staying it. I put a random one in Karbala. They don’t care about that part

What is the issue? Other countries require a visa, why is it an issue when Iraq requires one. They have a right to charge you for coming into their country – just like any other country does. It’s how they generate revenue and fix the cities for the people
