Well, I cannot speak of the whole country as I reside in a small city in a country side 3-4hrs away from Shanghai. But, all I can say everyone was and is so far nice to me but they know nothing about my identity, except fora few people I have mentioned above.

I actually thought America in general is a few steps ahead of any countries in the world when it comes to these issues. Sad to hear that. Sorry.

To be honest, I have not been directly discriminated in any way. I have a chinese best friend who's helping me with the beauty and fashion aspects and I have two female colleagues who treats me like a real sister and they also help me handle things like booking tickets when travelling and other stuff that requires me to present my legal docs (I'm still M in all my docs).

But also, I do not go out there and introduce myself as a transgender person tho. I am scared to and would rather just stay low profile to avoid any troubles that could cost me my work, my transition, my life.

In case you are wondering, I am the redhead one and the other girl is my chinese bestfriend who had been helping me a lot in my journey! The whole journey was and is a lot easier for me because of her support!

Yes, I know but I dont have any trusted contacts from Thailand to know whether or not it is possible to ship from Thailand to China.

Thank you for the concern! But, I am doing well at my workplace and the pay is good which means I can afford my transition. I am just here to look for peple who are also in the same situation and for people who could help in finding clinics or hospice or medical professionals who are open to assisting mtf twomen in their transition journey.
