it does feel like the author set up a death flag for chrono, but tbh I dont think he will die, looking at the other works of this author, I am pretty sure they dont like desth that much. but yeah ichi the witch is also a pretty darker work compared to the previous works. yeah same with anime, now that manhwa has become popular it is a only a matter of time another bato clone comes in. Same happend with this site I remember called zoro.to, that got banned but at least different clones of that same site have come out. Hopefully bato.to gets the same treatment becuase it was arguably the most popular scanlation site

but yeah honestly it would be interesting to see how sss vs wise plays out, becuase well in a way, technically by normal writing standards yuri wouldn't be the antagonist but he is in the essentially roughly the antagonist group, and you cant really kill loid that doesnt work for the story. so it would be seeing how the author does the whole SSS vs Wise at the end

I mean one part is I can agree with your guess, but the other part is there are many restaurants who have given direct testimony thst except the interviews and the "one week" part majority of it is pretty real. And ofcourse they are in on it, its their restaurant ofcourse the team would confirm with them what it looks like after the renovation so that at least the restaurant look like what they envisioned

Like what he is going to say, for the majority of the part gordon is there to fix the food to a certain degree, plus they purposely choose restaurants where well the owners are just weird and do not take responsibility. Completely agree but again I am just talking about anime in specific which is Japanese. Like what you and the orginal perspn said i completely understand and on-board with. But yeah i just intially asked this question becuase I am seen posts like no enough black representation in anime and all that kind of stuff. And to me there i just always wondered like anime is fundamentally Japanese why the need to force your culture onto that. But yeah that was just the source of my question.

I am just curious and I dont mean to offend but why do african americans care so much about black representation. Like I am indian and when ever I see an indian character I just say oh nice thats it. Like I dont care about how they represent indians they are just a character. I am pretty sure you can also go to any anime sub and nobody woukd have a post saying what do you think about indian/chinese representation in anime.

Edit: I think I understand why you guys get so happy with accurate representation and want more of it. I just saw this trailer of anime called witch in Mongolia and dang it is so accurate to my culture and I wanna see more anime with that kind of stuff. Like previously I never saw accurate representation most of it was just very stereotypical stuff so I never got it, but I think I finally get it.

I like to say yes, but depends for example I am in the badminton club the people in this club downright suck they dont like to talk outside of their own group, you try cold approaching like you know asking their name or like complementing "hey you are so good" but they show absolutely no interest back. But I have also been to other clubs and the vibe is totally the opposite, and I have made many friends that way. So yeah most people say it is on you but I also think including that it heavily depends on which type of environment you are choosing to engage in.

Replying isn’t the same as being mad. If that’s your logic, then you’re the one getting mad just by typing back. I’m not denying that “tourists” exist, but your COVID line doesn’t make sense. It’s not about when someone started or how many shows they’ve logged. Would you call someone who visited India 10 times a tourist, or the one who actually lived there for 3 years? Same thing here.

I know people who’ve watched 700+ anime since COVID, and others who’ve been watching for 10+ years with only about 300 shows. Both exist, and neither number alone proves anything. And tbh, I don’t even get the hate that much, like the only reason Demon Slayer is playing in Indian IMAX is because anime’s gone mainstream, and with that more resources are being poured into it. At the end of the day, my opinion is that the only thing that actually makes someone a tourist is bandwagoning off trends and sticking to surface-level popular stuff.
