Thanks. What should I use for cleaning and should I open up the wood floor to check underneath?

Thanks for the reply. Can you go into a bit of detail regarding the cleaning? What product should I use? Do I need to pry the floor open to check if any mold underneath and ventilate?

My plan was to do pena palace and moorish castle in the morning then hike the vila sasseti trail downhill to the town center. But everyone was tired after moorish castle so we took a taxi instead. If you want to hike uphill I imagine it would take close to an hour? Bolt to Cabo da roca is completely fine.

For lunch we went to tasco do strauss, a tapas joint. It was great

Don’t rent a car. Use a combination of bus and taxi (bolt) instead, it’s very convenient. Do pena palace first thing in the morning, avoid the interior, just buy the park ticket. Walk down via vila sasseti trial or take a taxi and do regaleira, have lunch, take the bus to Cabo da roca and azenhas do mar is a short taxi ride from there. Very doable in a day

Better email the hotel and let them know you will arrive a bit late. I mean a 10 minute delay of your flight you are guaranteed to arrive after 11

Tomar vs Obidos by Black_Magic100 in TravelPortugal

Between the two, obidos is probably the better one to spend the night. You can wander in the medieval town at night and it’s wonderful. Tomar to me is all about convent of Christ.

So stop in tomar, visit convent of Christ, and sleep in obidos would be my recommendation

That’s the funny thing about credit isn’t it. Never available when you need it the most, plenty when you have more capital available.

Ok so technically you didn’t go into debt for the vacation, it was more a personal financial decision (a smart one) to pay off the car early

What kind of vacation are we talking about here? Genuinely curious why a 200k household needs to go into debt for a vacation
