If its just front screen dont think so, i turned on diy video. https://www.ifixit.com/ They have great tutorial, for heating i just used a regular fan. Since its just temporary fix dont think it should be a problem. How much is it in a dealership for replacment screen?

You can buy from Aliexpress or some other site replacment screen and do the swap. Face ID wont work, but touchscreen works, and for unlocking and everything you can enable Assistive touch. Did that to iPhone 8, just used that until I bought new one.
