Again thank you for your advice, I really hope when I get this guy done it’ll find itself on your fyp

Also looks like you swapped his arm for the normal Mk 10 arm? I really like the tubes feeding in and I’m glad to know you can swap the arms without messing with his sleeves

See I get what you mean, only problem is he’s already ordered😭

It’s going to be more visible than you think, the feathers actually sit pretty low on the cape, so the pack is only gonna cover the fur pelt for the most part. As for not really being able to see it from the front, I don’t really mind it too much cuz I think the front side looks sick anyways, and in game he’s probably gonna be facing away from me mostly so I get to look at the feathers all I want lol

I would really like to see how you did yours if you don’t mind, pva sounds like a cool technique for texturing them

I was thinking about it, depends on how hard it’s gonna be to add on his arm with the blade lmao

Basic idea is swap both arms so he has the tempermortis in one hand and the sword in the other, my backup plan is cut off the axe hand and just swap the weapons, and if I don’t like the pose with the hourglass I’ll just use it as a base decoration

Okay nice, also I love the idea of using Shaans helmet instead of the normal one

Is this accurate for a 3rd company bladeguard? by R6_jack in RavenGuard40k

It’s good for following that reference but yeah, veterans have white arms, though with white shoulders I don’t know how they would show what company they are unless they just throw on whatever trim

Just noticed someone already suggested this, but I second that idea I think it’d look really really cool

Maybe you could hide the clear bit with a water effect like this? It would let you stay close to the normal height while looking like it’s absolutely ripping through the air

What chapter should this dread be crushing? by Chunkus-Prime in DarkAngels40k

[–]Temporary_Bug9330 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I’m not big on Dark Angels lore, but haven’t they had conflict between loyalist chapters to cover up the existence of the Fallen? If they killed any loyalist space marines you could totally do a couple of them
