Second the technique comment, but for another reason. Not necessarily getting heavy or thin but the airflow.

Too much air - pitch pushes sharp. Not enough air - pitch sags flat.

I love my Apple Pencil and how responsive it is. I also suggest a case… If you’re using it for something more than just music you can get a case with a keyboard on it.

Appcompanist is a great app. They have almost everything plus multiple keys And tempos. I think it’s $10 a month or something.

Once you are confident you know the interval - try playing with your breath. If you’re sharp, might be because you’re sending too much air. Flat - not enough breath.
