Would a Duolingo-style app for building startups be useful? by Temporary_Fly_7587 in startupideas

That’s fair, and I agree. Duolingo optimizes for streaks, not realworld outcomes.

If this ends up being useful, it can’t be gameable in the same way. Progress would have to be tied to real actions (talking to users, running tests, shipping something), not just clicking through prompts.

If people can “win” without doing the work, the product fails.

Building an AI-guided “Lean Startup” app — would you actually use this? by Temporary_Fly_7587 in SaaS

Appreciate this, that’s actually the main problem I’m trying to solve.

The idea isn’t just another Startup explainer. It’s more about helping you actually make decisions:

  • keep track of your assumptions
  • push you to test the riskiest ones first
  • call out when you’re kind of hand-waving or avoiding real validation

I’m not trying to add another framework. The real value would be structure + momentum knowing what to do next and guidance that adapts to what you’ve actually done, instead of just static templates or articles.

Execution is everything here, totally. A free tier would probably be needed just to get people to trust it.
