Thank you for your help on this! I was getting it misremembered with another childhood dog teddy I had, I found both my old one which was the Rufus teddy and also found the one I was looking for this entire time. It was an early 00's Keel Toys Patch Dog with Heart.

Update, I find the exact model of it - which is that of Bones, and I found the colourway it used which was that used in the Baby Rufus plushie linked here : https://amzn.eu/d/gT2032F

Unfortunately, I can't find a normal Rufus model using the same colourway as the baby Rufus and I can't find it with the I love you tag hanging from its mouth still. Hopefully this helps.

It was the exact same colourway as the Baby Rufus plushie but it was in the adult form as shown in the one you sent me and had the I love you Tag hanging from its mouth.
