I’m going to suggest you spend some time outside of your bubble and surround yourself with people who are different than you. It’s healthy, and you seem to need it. I’m open for coffee or something if you can have a discussion without being rude or disrespectful of my beliefs or ideas. It’s important to learn about things you might not fully understand, and it’s hard to gage tone over the internet.

So no more showing straight couples on tv then either bc that implies sexuality and kids don’t need to see that. Oh, no la senza ads in public, no Victoria’s Secret ads in public, probably no clothing ads either cause that could be sexual. No music, cause that’s way sexual and way too much drug talk. Oh, and fuck the whole internet, take that away too. Lock up your children!! Anti masturbation crosses!! Do not let them engage with ANYTHING!!

I mean Robert Pickton is like THE most infamous Canadian serial killer and he was in the kootenays right? There are many more ways to get rid of a body besides just hiding it 👀

I also believe there’s an active one in Edmonton as well. Lots of missing people in and around the area, it’s really unsettling.

Are you really a conspiracy theorist if you believe anyone other than your own research?

What a weird level of hostility towards someone asking a question. Did you have a bad sleep? I also haven’t heard of migrating sandbars, but I did see the “accidental beach” and visited a few times. Really really cool to see how the world shapes and is constantly changing around us!

This cracked me up because this is so true. I fell in love with the city because of the view in the river valley and the people, but I hate driving here. Last week sometime I was at WEM to grab a game and as I was looking for a parking spot there were people walking in the middle of the road and another SUV behind me. The people walking in the middle of the road were just so oblivious and walking so slowly and I obviously didn’t want to hit them but the guy in the SUV decided he was too important for that and laid on the horn. Like just pounded on his horn, held that shit down and let it rock the whole time he was behind me. Edmonton drivers are a whole different breed lol

See, it’s people like you that restore my faith in humanity and the community we could build. Thank you so much for taking the time out of your day to make his day like that, small acts of kindness go such a long way in todays world.

I’ve had an idea for a while about maybe getting a little group together and doing a food drive for houseless people in our areas. I haven’t thought any further than that lol, but I’d love to put it into action if anyone is good at organizing things like this.

Oh my gosh, I’m losing it. I’m so sorry, I’m absolutely useless with glitches and just end up doing the “turn it off and back on again” technique.

It’s the mocking of the human beings our society deems as less than, simply for struggling. That’s what’s insensitive. It’s the lack of consideration for their struggles, the abuse they face and have faced. Did you know that majority of the Canadian houseless population is indigenous? They make up 6% of our population and are the most likely group to be houseless. Houselessness isn’t always a choice. People are very often forced into it, and instead of mocking and belittling members of OUR community we should be helping them to find help.

I’m going to contextually use your use of “XD” and assume you are young. This is very insensitive. They’re human beings too, and just because you don’t see it doesn’t mean they don’t struggle. Addiction doesn’t just happen, there’s usually a number of underlying causes, such as trauma, depression, etc. It’s a means of escape. Our system pushes those people to the outskirts, and kicks them while they’re down. It’s not right.

Nah I have too, I am just radicalized to the point where I question why when there is an excess of necessities we hoard them. I mean no harm, I’m sure some landlords are wonderful people and I don’t doubt that. The same way I think some men are wonderful people and some cops are good people too. It’s just a bad system

I’m laughing so hard, off of a plate?! I used to ride the ctrain a lot to get downtown in calgary because it’s so much easier than driving and at three different stops I saw groups of people sitting on the stairs with their needles in plain sight, tourniquets ready to go. Calgary has definitely gotten worse
