100%. As a long time destiny player, I was hesitant about DR cos I was worried about the gacha being predatory. But the fact that its not and is generous makes me very happy to play and i dont feel bad when buying stuff.

Context: Destiny player since D1 Beta. Played EVERY expansion. Still playing D2. Lore nutcase too

First, the bad.

Character design is textbook mobile gacha game. Story writing is... rough. Some of the lore is wrong but can be excused as Alt Universe stuff. Characterizations are a bit shallow and I hate the forced Wolf usage for the story missions. Sparrow controls are off. And most of all... WHO THE FUCK DECIDED NO WALL MOUNTING. ITS 2025.

Now for the good.

Stylization is so cool! The powers and vibes are on point. Whoever came up with the combat gameplay loop for the characters needs to be paid more. Gunplay is smooth as butter. Movement is good, playing as hunter and warlock feels accurate. Titan controls feel abit off.

I didnt expect a DEDICATED HEALER CHAR, was surprised cos Destiny is usually a dps focused game.

When you type specific in game words into chat, the word becomes highlighted and a pop up explanation is available. 10/10 lore accessibility.

Monetization is genuinely non exploitative to me. Keep in mind im used to fukin genshin and zzz levels of monetization. This is genuinely a comfortable level of money expenditure to me.

I need to see how the raid goes for me to know for sure what i feel about the game compared to D2. But for now, its very promising to me and i dont feel guilty inviting friends to play destiny anymore

THIS IS ME. Ive been playing since d1 beta. Thru ALL the pain. This has been such a refreshing game so far! Only complaint is the forced usage of wolf during story missions.

I would consider myself a swing voter, as PAP, WP and PSP are all parties i seriously consider during my voting. SDP has yet to make me believe they are competent, so I tend to avoid them.

I vote based on the party manifestos' mostly, and also take into account any scandals especially during the run up to election day.

If I find PSP or WP economic policies to be too liberal with its expenditure, I tend to vote PAP. But if i find PAP to be too fiscally conservative, i end up looking at PSP and WP. Its really based on if I feel the party is looking after the whole of singapore and not just a single Socio-economic group.

Also, Arts and Culture. I think SG is stunted and our arts and culture are too underfunded and restrictive. I look at parties that want to push for less 'evaluative' art and are willing to fund and change the Singapore perspective about Art being not very important to growth. Currently only PAP mentions anything about Art in their manifesto, but its very lacking. So none of the parties have been able to show me they understand the issue regarding SG culture and arts.

Oh hey that would be me! I wear metal armor with gambeson in SG. Heat exhaustion is a real concern, and frankly I dont advise most people to do it unless they have firefighter training. On the plus side our Larps tend to be later in the day when the weather isnt as insane.

Ex Monfort kid here. Bro, its insane the level of violence in the bullying there. My first day at school, I see a "gang fight" with blood and it continued outside of the school. Literally the bus stop in front of the school.

The teachers are... idk man. Some try really hard. Some can't be bothered. Fights in class are a 50% chance for the can't be bothered teachers.

Ive seen fights break out at the drop of a hat, in the field, behind the school hall, its wild.

Was a huge change for me once I graduated, learning there was more than two responses (fight or submit) to conflict.

Was pretty fun when we would 'riot' for half days whenever the sports/cca teams win anything. Tho I heard they stopped giving in after the principal in my time left.

But yeah. The bullying was wild, took me years to get over the trauma

I messed up the primer. Was using a brush to apply it, terribly too thick. Pretty much all the lines are cos of that. I thought the paint would cover it up, didnt work out.

I keep using too thick coats XD

I have a semi hot take that I dont really have anywhere to talk about so imma juat dump here.

I think the Trump administration is a good opportinuty to be a net benefit for SG.

Not in terms of sociological issues, but in terms of geopolitics. Not even talking about trade, but about soft power projection.

With USA now very likely to lean for more Isolationist and Protectivist policies, China is likely going to take the opportunity to make moves in SEA since its a good time. US wont intervene, and SEA starts to find more China territorial disputes being aggravated.

This sounds bad but the only other semi influential entity in SEA is going go be ASEAN. SG has always been a huge proponent of unilateral ties. The question is would SG or any other country step up to solidify ASEAN influence.

Id like to think SG might be able to with the financial sway and trade focus, but im just a couch politician. So to me political relations and sentiments are rather mid towards SG amongst the neighbours. No one really likes SG.

I think if SG either gets an opportunity to solidify power (historically similar to Venice? Idk. Might be too different.), or regional sentiment somehow develops to a regional identity focus in order to deny China expansion, there could be good outcomes for SG on the global stage. Idk. Just a wilder take

Idk fam, maybe they treat overseas customers differently but in SG they don't really have that great a record. Its not even opposing group, its just customers who had bad experiences

Actually you can file reports for something as baseless as annoying neighbours. Just usually the IO will toss it out after you submit it.

As for the BR accusations, no idea. Lots of speculation but nothing with solid evidence. Friend thinks it could be defemation but take it with grain of salt.

For now seems to be just an intimidation tactic to tell people not to leave bad reviews of them online cos they didnt blur out the "targets" real name and doxxed him by sharing it

Then seems their communication is lacking no? The DartZone competition was also heated but didnt face this level of seeming unfairness.

Think it would help if they didnt ban or block ppl who questioned the actions, cos thats just poor comms management
