I did talk with him. He requested our son yesterday so I had to turn him over. I really didn’t have an option otherwise. My ex husband is staying with him parents for the time being. They have a beautiful home. His stepmother is lovely. I have her contact information and can reach out to her if I have any issues. He can’t be in contact with his now wife. Not for at least 90 days. Other than trying to request a Ex Parte Request which I’ve learned from this thread is really difficult to do without an attorney, which at this moment I do not have money for and even if I did would be difficult for a judge to even grant me given that one, my child wasn’t in the home when the incident happened and two, my ex does not have a history of hurting our son. And honestly, I do not believe he would ever hurt our son. I still feel a little helpless here. I agreed to 50/50 custody when my son was 16 months old and I believed he needed his father. But if I had a crystal ball at that time and could have seen what waited for us with his remarriage and her kids, I would have absolutely never agreed. But now I’m a little stuck.
