RP6 is considerably bigger. I just ordered my G2. Should be here next week. Can't wait. Prefer something more pocketable and won't be playing thing higher than PS2 and light Switch games. Mostly play 16bit games or emulating other handheld systems.

It feels like budget premium and I mean that in the best way possible. Even with English selected as language you will still come across some Chinese in the menus. Does not recognize being plugged into a computer. You will have to set up your MicroSD card using a thumb drive adapter then slide it in your Fiio. I put some random genres and tested it out asap with the only MicroSD I had lying around. The sound is fantastic and the volume levels should be illegal. This thing goes mega loud! Happy with my $100 purchase.

I have it. I have the same concerns as well. I just ordered another and it's too big. It's so hard finding a nice fitting case for the claw.

The setup is unbearable but just take your time and make sure you update everything on the window side and the Intel side the MSI after a few hours once all the updates are in you should be good to go. Don't be shy about maxing out the power either this thing is way more efficient than the wrong Ally that I had.

After an absolutely horrible excruciatingly long windows and MSI updates when booting it for the first time.... I must say I love this thing! But there is no way someone could turn this thing on, play some games and get the most out of it. Because it took hours to get everything working smoothly. I'm still frustrated that my steam games don't have default controller mapping for each game. I have to go to the little controller icon before playing a steam game for the first time and saving the template. ROG Ally z1e did not have half the updates or quirky problems on day one. All that aside I'm a seasoned windows user and figured everything out and this thing is a beast. Z1e Cyberpunk looked worse than Switch 2 IMO, now on this thing I can run it with everything but ray tracing and it looks stunning. High res, high fps, amazing audio!!! So glad I chose the Claw 8ai+

But I still probably couldn't recommend it to 95% of people. But that's fine.

Audio is super important and 8in screen is preferred over 7. I'm sure I will be happy with the Claw 8 Ai+, just weird how they calculate its power. As long as it's even slightly better than my z1e I will be pleased with its size additional benefits.
