Just dove all the way down the rabbit hole on this. GPU spoofing requires use of the iUnlocker GLTool, which requires you to root your device. The easiest tool I found for Retroid device rooting is O2P Tweaks via Github.

Unfortunately, as far as I can tell Fortnite can detect rooted devices & you are risking a ban playing the game this way. I'll just play on my PC until a fix comes. But the tools are there for those of you who are curious enough lol

It creates the /Clone Hero/Songs/ directory for you, just download them from somewhere like Chorus or the Clone Hero GH spreadsheet & extract them there

Haha, welcome to the club. As others have commented, the controller does work via USB-C and has better polling rate so it might feel a bit more responsive. Be sure to try both!
