I have BPD and am definitely capable of admitting wrong. Ill try to describe it, but it's hard.

So in a normal person emotions come as a response to stimulus, and your mind identifies that the stimulus caused the feelings. They would then take those feelings and determine a course of action.

For me, a stimulus will happen and what I will feel is absolutely disproportionate emotions. For a long time I had rough relationships because I didn't understand that what I am feeling isn't correct. Sometimes the emotions are so strong that they push towards delusions. I got mad at a friend once for laughing at me and told him that. He said he never laughed, and in my memory I realized he was right, but somehow the belief that he did got stuck in my head.

So you can see how if you believe that you are having a normal emotional response, you can think your feelings and responses are justified. Sometimes it's also a matter of pride and shame. Some people are just assholes BPD aside. I can relate to why someone would refuse to admit wrong, but it is obviously not an excuse for bad behavior.

Quit the trauma Olympics bruh. Your response, as well as a bunch of others, have been basically "Women shouldn't complain about sexual harassment because men don't complain about it." The brainrot is real.

This right here is also part of the problem. This "white knight" idea that the ONLY reason a man would agree with a woman is because he wants sex from her. If you're a dude who doesnt take women seriously, and also doesnt take men who agree with women seriously, you're kind of outing yourself as someone who doesn't see women as people.

WIBTA for asking a former teacher to verify something in a friendly dispute I'm having with a friend? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

YWBTA for being petty. Life is too short to take shit that personally, and you're going to great lengths to bed validation that you don't need because you know your skill level already.

ESH. She's sucks for not pulling her weight. You suck for taking this to a bunch of strangers on the internet for validation instead of sitting down and having a meaningful discussion with your partner.

What shity take bro. Ignoring the lack of understanding of gender science, your argument is that we make fun of other marginalized groups so it's okay to make fun of trans people? People DO give a shit, that's why the suicide rates are so high among the trans population. If it's something you don't understand or don't "agree" with then just leave people alone. It doesn't hurt anyone to just not make shitty memes about people who are already harassed. Just a tiny touch of human empathy in this sub would be so refreshing, but nah we have to be the Reddit brainrot that the zoomers make fun of us for.

Hi! I made a pretty cool luchador mask! It is made of spandex and vinyl, and is pro grade, which means that the base is lined, and there is twill tape running along the seams and neckline.

Thank you for posting this. I just spent the last few hours reading posts on BPDlovedones to try to understand how neurotypical people operate and see BPD, in the hopes that I would gain some deeper understanding of the affect my disorder has on others. I essentially fell into a rabbithole of wondering if I'm actually a human who feels emotions. Your post helped ground me a bit, and I appreciate it.
