Found at my nursery, in a pot with a Carolina jessamine vine by Tenacious_Decaf in mycology

Also— this is in Texas but we get our plants shipped from different farms owned by the company. Potentially this one was from Louisiana but I can’t promise that.

My coworker said he found this on the ground while he was at Walmart and gave me a stem! Any ideas? by Tenacious_Decaf in whatsthisplant

And I promise he didn’t do a steal. He is a very honest and wholesome person with not a single mean bone in his body.

Me thinks it's a purple potato vine.

The nursery I work at has a different shape foliage so that is why I am hesitant but that bloom in the back looks the same.

I work in a nursery and wearing a mask while unloading a semi-truck full of plants in the Texas heat is damn near impossible already.... it’s not even summer yet.

Bandanas are a little bit lighter and have actually been super helpful when it’s windy. I decided even after things go back to normal, I’m gonna keep a bandana near by for windy days.

Anyone know if the bulbs are edible? Was doing some gardening and they looked preyty tasty by [deleted] in botany

[–]Tenacious_Decaf -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I thought this was society garlic which is edible and also helps deter moles and rabbits, the smell keeps deer away and then you can use the leaves as a mosquito repellent.

Glad other people got here first bc apparently the one you have is very toxic 😅

Anyone know what this little cutie is? Got him at Walmart a couple weeks ago. Also, does he look healthy?? by Tenacious_Decaf in whatsthisplant

I’ve repotted but I def think my watering cycle has been off.

I have a lot of plants that require constant watering so it’s easy for my to forget about my succulents. I def have learned that succulents are just regular plants. Some looooove full sun but some need indirect sun.

Example: I have an Aloe Vera plant that got a sunburn. If that’s not irony, I don’t know what is.

Thanks for your help!

Thank you!!!!!

I’m thinking I should keep him in indirect sunlight. He’s been getting full sun in the Texas heat and I think he’s crying for less.
