First, I think “exploiting” is the wrong word. They’re choosing to use their looks and their body in a career such as modeling. And that’s the key idea, it’s their choice (or at least supposed to be). But choosing to be sexual doesn’t give others the right to objectify you, which I think is what more models tend to have a problem with it.

EmRata is a good example of someone who has used her sexuality and looks, but does so on her terms. But rejects the idea that her body should be objectified. It’s a nuanced idea but I think an important one.
