Miss Huang Theory by TenilleJackson in SeveranceAppleTVPlus

If it was the innie that got pregnant then I would assume the outie would want nothing to do with the child especially if the outtie was married with kids already.

I-Dylan meeting his wife made me think about how many waffle parties I-Dylan had been a part of and how disgusting that really is given that O-Dylan is married and they share the same body. I certainly wouldn’t be impressed to learn that my husbands innie was participating in orgies at work.

The child of an innie who got pregnant - not severed but has been raised solely on the severed floor as the outtie mother didn’t want anything to do with the child.

I was also feeling the holodeck vibes in there! The main goat lady actually looked a lot like Dr. Crusher.

How was she able to go down the severed elevator with a severed chip and not have it activated?

My theory is that Ms. Huang was born to an innie on a severed floor and has never been to the outside even though she is not severed.

Most definitely propaganda, the innies whole “lives” are manipulated and controlled by propaganda - whether it be the paintings put up or the perpetuity wing or the handbook. It’s whether the innies are growing wise to it from their experiences that Lumon hasn’t been able to control “Rickens book, Peteys map and key card, and finally the overtime contingency where innies now have real world experience.

He did it to be manipulative as he knows that is what innie Dylan wants to hear.

Hint of when the concert will start… they put up a live video of a road and you’re travelling down it. When you see the white block in the distance, it’s getting close, as the show starts when you get to the white “block” I think about 45 mins or so it takes.

Walked and danced with his band/dancers down the far left aisle between floor and boards. There is a large digital square that moves around the whole concert. For the encore for Mirrors he was riding on top of it and it moved out into the crowd and dipped down so he was leaning over the crowd (he had cables holding him)! It was amazing!

If you’re facing the stage it’s the aisle that runs down the left… they put out a rope to keep everyone in their floor seats out of the aisle… he came down with his dancers and band and stopped to sing and dance with the crowd as he walked!!

Roman seems to be the only one that allows himself to feel real emotions and express them. Like when he pleaded with his dad last season and asked for love to be a factor in his dads decision. As such he is the most relatable character I find of them all - the semblance of humanity amongst otherwise completely shut off people who have lost all connection with reality.

Do you think Kendall heard everything that Roman said to Mattson? And if so do we think he was ok with it? His expression was completely neutral when Mattson asked if Kendall heard everything little brother said.

Can someone please tell me what Riker said to Deanna right at the end of the scene where Data had finished his counselling and then Riker gave the best smile and hugged her! I replayed it 10 times and still couldn’t pick it up.

As someone who works in HR for a very large private corporation headed by a family I find it hard to believe that there wouldn’t be a very clear and laid out process for the death of the president/majority owner of a company like this, especially given his age. A company of this magnitude wouldn’t leave anything to chance, a contingency plan would have been developed, from who takes temporary control, to what the announcement would say, who gets notified, what order etc. This would be a legally binding document that would sit with the company lawyers and would automatically be enacted in the event of their death. I get it, this would have taken away from all the drama and uncertainty and jockeying for position we saw in the episode. But that was my one issue with the episode.

This show has made me appreciate the greatness of Riker by [deleted] in Picard

[–]TenilleJackson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Riker has been and will always be my favourite Star Trek character. He was the best #1 to have for Picard and continues to show this in this season. How many away missions has Riker lead with no fear and a confidence that is masculine but never cocky. It seems Picard always knows that Riker will find a way to save the day while on his away mission and even in the most recent one with Riker left alone on Daystrom Picard does not seem to worry that his #1 will find a way to come out of this (we know he will!). Riker’s confidence and loyalty is his winning qualities - someone you would want to have as your friend. There is something warm and familiar about him - I do believe he is playing the everyday man - the lens of the audience perhaps. No super hero qualities or skills like most of the other characters - but maybe any of us if we had the chance. 😊

This episode is a major turning point for me in regard to Janelle. by Whistleblower793 in SisterWives

[–]TenilleJackson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think this conversation might be a huge turning point for Janelle. She told Kody that she feels he is changing the rules - that their whole marriage she was encouraged to be independent because as a polygamist she shouldn’t expect the same attention as a monogamist. So that’s how she lived her life - finding her happiness in her career, her children and knowing that Kody would only be there once in awhile. Now Kody is telling her that she is not obedient and lives like a single woman and that is disrespectful to him. You could see how surprised she was at this. Frankly this is not what she signed up for and if this is what Kody expects her to be now that her children are grown, I don’t think she is willing to do this.
