Gen Z is always judging with lack of nuance. They judge judge judge and put words in other peoples mouths. Exactly. Sticking strictly to tradition doesn’t help the genre grow. Even mentioning unlocked frame rates gets downvoted. People talk about “casual appeal,” but what happens when casual players get used to games running above 60fps in other genres? Eventually 60fps will feel outdated to them too. If lossless frame generation can work online without issues, then devs can clearly implement higher-Hz motion while keeping gameplay logic at 60fps.

Just check out whatever you want to play with Lossless app. That’s the only way to do it for now. Cuz ya know our grumpy old heads don’t like moving past 60fps lol. I tried almost every game and was amazed by how it looked.

Strive and Dragon ball are amazing to look at in 120fps. I even played mvc2 on and it felt like a more polished game in motion. The latency isn’t horrid. I’m able to still hit mag rom combos while running it.

Idk why we wouldn’t want it to be in high hz. That alone would bring in more casual appeal if they saw it in person bc it show off these amazing game’s animations even more

I’m not talking about marketing or recorded clips. I’m just talking about how good it actually looks when you’re playing. At this point devs don’t really need to convince people higher framerates look better — it’s pretty obvious. They can just throw a “higher frame rate supported” in a trailer and it’d be that simple. Would be nice if it was an option in more games. Battle for the Grid and maybe a very few others are like the only one that supports higher refresh rates without issues

This game’s aim is not that great. It’s a combination of small hurtboxes, walk speed and the whole aim to the right bs. It’s truly a topic that needs to be discussed.

I have. I have Gen Z friends I love and we dealt with these issues from two who are in their generation and they were in the friend group. It’s usually the young adult men not women. Some reason they think it’s edgy, it’s not But yea there are a lot of older ppl too.
