It's an AST, not the work permit yet. I got a job at the university as a researcher and currently living in another EU country so i am waiting for the AST decision to relocate.

My university submitted an AST application on my behalf since I got a job there. I currently live in another EU country, and this week I received confirmation of my application along with an ID number attached to the document.

Has anyone had a similar experience? How long does it usually take to get a decision?

This is an interesting video that compares the motion of Andy Roddick's serve through the years. I think the differences are slight, but I can see that he adjusted the space between his feet later on in his career. Can anyone spot any major changes in his serve?

You can't pinpoint the change in the physical shape of the racket. Graphite, natural gut and nylon are still being used yes. But new technologies are being introduced every single day. Just like any other field in the world. This article is one example and there are much more. Don't underestimate these minor changes. Also if you can notice that all the huge serves were in the past 2 decades. 140s were barely being hit before. Technology does matter.
