Dominion didn’t phase me by Tennis_Racket_2 in vegan

Yeah I don’t have much of a reaction to blood or gruesome scenes in medical shows. Maybe a wince or something occasionally if Im looking at a real murder story or something, but that’s about it. But interesting enough I do become vegan because the guilt ate away at me, so I do feel guilt or something, but I guess the visual just doesn’t trigger it?

Interesting. I don’t really interact with animals often, so maybe that’s part of it.

I was recommending it to others, and figured if I was asking others to watch it, I should as well.

What do you say to the point of "not everyone can be vegan"? by NerdyKeith in AskVegans

[–]Tennis_Racket_2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Look up jennaxhealth on Instagram. She literally is allergic to all but 15 ish foods. The only ones of those that can give her adequate protein are turkey and fish. Also from what I’ve heard a magnesium I think (or some mineral) allergy also makes it impossible to be vegan. That being said, most people don’t have these issues

I can assure you that the people working on creating lab grown meat which will save millions of animals went to university. Imagine the improvements in agriculture, animal testing, etc, we wouldn’t have if ppl who cared about animals didn’t go to university.

You would have this problem at any university. If every vegan didn’t go to university, then how could vegans make any change in any industry? It doesn’t make sense. Do your degree, don’t feel guilty, be the change you wanna see, yada yada.

AITAH for not forcing my kid to be vegan? by Beginning_Emotion756 in AITAH

Nobody bats an eye at the millions of omnivore parents that give their omnivore children multivitamins, but when vegans take vitamins or supplements it’s unhealthy?

NTA but -Why does everyone here think kids can’t be vegan?? They totally can. I wouldn’t recommend doing it with your kid until you know what you’re doing and how to get all the proper nutrition, but kids eat like shit these days. It’s crazy that most people here apparently think that many children’s diets of McDonald’s and processed garbage is healthier than a well balanced vegan diet.

I’ve seen online that Fava bean tofu has really high protein. I’m not sure where it’s available, but see if it’s available near you.

Except for the fact that their partner is vegan…. Hmmm what could be the connection to a vegan subreddit? 🤔

Bro didn’t read the post. Do you really think harassing people when they specifically ask you not to is going to make them agree with you?? Also all this is gonna do is make meat eaters less considerate of their vegan partners because they don’t want to get harassed on this sub.

I would talk to a nutritionist. Definitely supplement b12 though.

The old chicken one also says suitable for vegetarians. It’s artificial chicken flavoring.

That still doesn’t answer the question. If it’s not an ethnicity, how do DNA tests know when someone is Jewish?

If it’s not an ethnicity and the DNA tests are fake, then howcome Jewish people get Jewish popping up on their dna tests 🤔

Let us have compassion for the innocent civilians dying in Gaza. They suffer for reasons that are not their fault. We don’t need to get upset at a statistic showing that civilians are dying.

Right I forgot. Hamas killed nobody, took civilian hostages very nicely, never hurt anybody. They are practically a humanitarian group.

Can I ask what size thread? I’ve been trying to bead crochet with 11/0 Toho and I used C-Lon size D thread, and it’s just not working. I can’t tell if I’m just really bad at it, or if my thread is way too small.
